I'm a 3L at a top Canadian school still without a job secured. Any advice would be appreciated, please. I'm around the median of my class with a strong resume (imo). I know that many law students in general don't land until after graduation, but that is not the norm at my school. I've interviewed but haven't received offers, and I've been coffee chatting, cold-emailing, attending conferences, met with the career office, etc since July. Hoping to land in NY or Toronto (corporate transactional).

I went for 3 interviews with a company met with vp and was given package thinking I aced interview there was another candidate 😞 the other person for the job. The VP calls me to tell me I didn’t get position however he wants me to re apply in new year that something else will be open, and that he wanted to keep a copy of my resume what does this mean ? Should I apply again in new year or don’t bother ?
