Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

I was you and struggled for a bit but I ended up at a top US firm in big law. Also to be real, the colour of our skin really hinders it all. As people of colour, they expect us to be at the top of our class; median doesn’t cut it for us.
Would you please be able to share more about how you were able to get your big break & how I should navigate things? And I definitely agree with you – I have a friend who got a job during the 2L NY recruit (I didn't participate) with lower 1L grades and less experience than me within 2.5 months. That's just one anecdote of course, but I do believe it's not uncommon. Also, did you write both the NY and ON bars?
There’s more to it than just going through the motions; You need to also be genuine and make sure you’re coming across as someone people would want to work with or refer to a friend or colleague.
thank you so much!
Networking: Continue to network and reach out to alumni, professors, and other professionals in the industry. Attend networking events, conferences, and job fairs.
Tailor your applications: Make sure to tailor your applications to each firm or company you apply to. Research the firm and its culture, and make sure your application highlights your skills and experience that match their needs.
Consider smaller firms: Don't limit your job search to just large firms or companies. Smaller firms may be more likely to hire new graduates and offer valuable experience and mentorship.
Be persistent: Keep applying to job postings and follow up with the firms or companies you've already applied to. Don't be discouraged if you don't hear back right away.
Consider alternative paths: If you're not finding success in the traditional job search, consider alternative paths such as fellowships, internships, or clerkships that can provide valuable experience and connections in the industry.
