Anyone a CFP as a side hustle?
Hi. I would appreciate any advice on this. I have been working in TCS for 3 years in Support domain. I have completed my PGP in Data Science and Business Analytics. I have been trying to get placed in Accenture. I applied last November as a referral to Accenture. However, my resume was rejected. I thought it was because I was not serving notice period and still studying my PGP. However, I have completed my degree now and am looking to switch over. (In comments) Accenture Accenture India

Highly recommend a gym NOT in the gayborhood. Gays are super judgy...I mean everyone's judgy but the gays really don't make u feel like ur trying to be better...only that you suck now
In a normal gym I'd say you're just being paranoid, nobody really cares, you be you. But Vida does have that obnoxious subclass of bitchy gay so I know what you mean. So either go and don't worry about it, or better, join a less pretentious gym. Honestly you don't need to give a shit about what anybody says or thinks, the point is that you're going! On the plus side, if you stick to that gym, bitchy or not, they're motivating to look at
OP, I'm sorry to hear about this. Please go and don't let anybody else's judgement stop you. For every one judgy person there are 100 supportive ones. Classes are a great way to start too, they can be social and you can find friends or some are more private too, like spin classes where it's dark. But honestly, fuck those other people. There's no worse kind of human than one who criticizes people's bodies when there at the gym...
Yeah I know. Makes me want to join curves or somewhere. It's a very social gym too. I'm too embarrassed to even go out into a gay bar, much less to the gym.
I totally understand where you are coming from. 1st of all, signing up is a great step! Don't worry about anyone else. Any person can empathize that you want to be healthier. Gay straight it doesn't matter. You need to do this for you! I have had insecurities about dating being bigger, but it is what it is. I joined a gym and decided to live a healthier life! I am here for any encouragement you may need! You can do it!
I'm workout with you #notatvida
BA1- I don't follow?
Skip Vida and join the Y on U St.
Try taking a friend with you. Easier to ignore others when focusing on one other person.
WSC is ok as well, not as many bitchy queens
Vida is terrible
Shake it off :)
Maybe the gym isn't the answer. There's always the great outdoors. If your main goal is to lose weight, diet is far more important than exercise. So a healthy diet and a few walks/jogs around the neighborhood, and no bitchy queen encounters required.
Sorry, I was saying I'll be your workout buddy... Just not at vida 😁
Go to Balance (their commercial gym, not their crossfit). They have normal gym goers.
