I'm an RN working for 15 months in Med-Surg. I would like to go into Labor and Delivery or Family Centered Care but I only see postings for experienced nurses. Any advice as to how I break into the specialty?

I was the same ! Find out who the manager or director is and call them see if you can shadow one of their nurses for a shift unpaid.
Then if it goes well and it’s near you offer to come back and would once every other week or so . Then they won’t view you as new :)!!

Wife has a services startup and in addition, has a great idea for a product / app that has the potential to be a B2B hit and B2C as well. Large market, creative idea and not too much competition. Will need sophisticated tech development. Given we are not dev / engg, what advice can you share with regards to getting someone tech hands-on with expertise on board? What are the different ways non tech founders approach this? Any ideas will be very helpful. Looking for a starting point. Thank you.

Hi,

What Skill set is required for IT Business Analyst?

Has anyone ever posted a general marketing position? We have an open position on our marketing team but we are unsure what type of position to offer. We have a wide variety of needs but don’t necessarily need to have this future person have all these skills. For example we need someone with great copywriting skills and also need someone who is great at digital marketing. This person doesn’t necessarily need to have both skills but if they did great, but if only one, great too.

Reposting from HR bowl: I’ve heard there is a hiring boom, especially for L&D roles. I was let go recently from a toxic environment (removed the company from everything) after only 4 days of work. Any advice for me? I’m also seeking therapy for the trauma & coping, now ready for securing that next role!
