Accenture, or any company for that matter, doesn’t give two sh*ts about you. Follow the money.
In that case go independent
Is it a promotion in title? Is it a much smaller or boutique firm with less overhead costs? I feel like in our industry, there are layers to the work, so while the client delivery may be the same, maybe there are different expectations on the other areas (e.g. sales, thought leadership, asset development, management)? Accenture studies salaries closely and while it doesn't always pay top dollar, I don't know that we're often that far off target for the same role.
Its for a big-4, and it would be a small promotion. From SM to Director. But even if I was offered the SM role, my salary would go up 30-40%. And I'm not the only one, all my colleagues who have been promoted to SM in the last round have already left for 40%-100% pay increase

Why not take the role, see if you like it, and if you don’t boomerang back.

Get the offer, try to get matched, if not, follow the money. Life is a lot easier longer term if you get compensated well with your skills. Don't stay stagnant just because it's known/comfortable
If it's any help, same here
I left Accenture years ago because a competitor would pay me double to do the same job. Accenture pay varies widely and can be extremely disparate and exploitative in the lower levels. Just leave and never look back.
Update: Accenture increased my salary 40%. And I'm working 9-5, so can't complain
How did you approach the situation? Through HR partner or through People lead?

What is current TC?
There's a catch somewhere, just keep that in mind. My .02 if you really like Accenture is to talk to your manager/boss, let them know about the offer, and that you prefer to stay at Accenture but its too much of a salary increase to ignore. You hear of people getting counter offers on here all the time, plus retention bonuses.
Why does there have to be a catch?
If I was offered that tomorrow I would leave skid marks getting away from here.
Thanks for the update Op. very curious what level are you, and what is new base?
