Hello Fishes,
I have got an offer at Wells Fargo for the role Technology Business Systems Consultant and my total YOE is 4.8 into Testing (Manual and Automation)
Is this role relevant to my experience or is it a role for much experienced person than me?
Any idea or information that what is the pay usually offered for this position?
Please provide your thoughts and suggest whether I should change 1. My role or 2. Request for more pay
Thanks in Advance!Wells Fargo

Got messaged by a C3 . ai recruiter. Read that wlb is bad and that the interview process is absurdly long, but the Glassdoor reviews are 4.2 and can't find actual hours worked posted by anyone. How's the culture really? I'd be aiming for DS consulting, something more functional but with DS/ML concepts as my differentiator.

Usually
ACD means you’re still a working creative but are pretty senior and don’t need baby sitting. You’re mentoring younger creatives and managing projects without a ton of hand holding.
CDs at most places only manage teams and projects and aren’t doing the work themselves anymore. Some agencies have working CDs but most you’re managing a team and are responsible for the output of work on one or more brands.
I currently manage 4 creative teams on 3 brands for example.

Usually! I’ve been managing teams since the moment I was promoted.

What is supposed to be vs what it was vs what it is. Supposed to be a creative director in training. 1-2 small accounts to learn how run a business, sell great work and learn how best to partner with other disciplines. What it was? At good shops until 2015, that’s what it was. At bad shops, a puffed up title or reason to give a valued employee you don’t want to lose to stay. What it is? Most everywhere it’s a puffed up title with a very small pay bump to keep sr cws/ads from jumping ship to another agency for a LOT more money. Outside hires at that title are usually sr cws/ads who wanted a big pay jump or not very good CDs who need a job and are trying to get career back on track.
