I’m currently interviewing and there’s something about the CCO that I’m getting a bad feeling about. But everyone says he’s great. Maybe I’m crazy?

Hi! I interviewed for a Digital Marketing Analyst for an agency for Data Center and Telecom PR/ Tech. Since we are virtual country wide, he asked what my salary requirement would be for this role. I haven’t had this type of position before and am unsure what to say. I want to reach for the stars but don’t want to come across with a scary offer. Can anyone advise or have any salary ranges? No info on Glassdoor for salaries at the company! I will be living near the SF Bay Area.

Amazons excessive interviews are an awful candidate experience. Why do they think this will help them win top talent in this competitive environment? Especially with their public cultural issues…? Lots of great paying companies without having to take a day off from work to interview! It’s overkill

Hello Fishes, I interviewed at a company in October and they responded to me after a month. I accepted the verbal offer last week Wednesday. They said they would give written offer in a week. I have recruiters from the same company reach out for positions at different locations. My current recruiter said once I accept this I can't interview for other positions at the same company. Their process is so slow that I don't really want to miss out on any chance.What would be a great time to follow up?

Citius Tech. I asked for 30LPA. HR said it's not at all a problem.
Manager was fine with my profile in 2nd round and he said he will move to next client round. HR mailed me next day like like the client band is less and working on it.

Yesterday the HR replied that they can't match my expectation and thanks for applying.

Hare yaar. It's you who called me. I purposely said if you have budget proceed. Without even knowing that these HR's are working. Time waste for their employees too.

How soon is too soon to start looking and applying to jobs after accepting a position?

Context:

I recently accepted a position at the company and have been working as a temp for the past 3 months. I really enjoy the people I work with and the company seems to really support its employees, however it is in a field that doesnt exactly align with what I would like to be doing. And unfortunately the compensation package is also lacking.

I had a panel interview two weeks ago. I sent the recruiter a status check email last Friday and haven't heard back. I'm really interested in this company and still see the role posted on their site. I'd like to send another email today (to the hiring mgr and recruiter) reiterating my interest along with a list of references. Thoughts on sending the references without them asking? I don't do well with panel interviews and I'm hoping they look past that and check my references.

What are some questions you always ask during your interview? I feel like I need to be asking more.

I have a somewhat unsteady, gappy work history due to several health issues — serious ones — that have gotten in the way since I passed the bar. My first major health issue I can easily explain as it’s physical, a major concussion. My other health issues are severe depression that affected my ability to work steadily. I am better finally, and ready to get back to work, but I don’t know how to explain this or even approach this during interviews/resume writing.

I’ve been interviewing with Google since July. Passed the first interview but the team I was matched with ended up hiring someone else. Recruiter told me that she will let me know if any other opportunities arise as I’m still in the running and haven’t been rejected. I know that interviewing with google is a long process but I’m worried the longer I wait the more likely I will be rejected or just never hear back. Anyone else in this situation? Round 1: HR round. cleared.

Round 2: Hiring manager round. Went well.

After 2 weeks they said Role no longer available. It was L5 supply chain role. This happened in April. Can I apply again in Amazon? Trying to decide on the HDHP Health Insurance. Basic vs. Premium. Benefits says the two are equivalent in coverage except three differences - deductible $3K premium vs $3.5k basic, no monthly payment for basic and no $2K company contribution for basic HDHP. What am I missing here. Why would t one not go for basic as you are ahead by about $1K. Any explanations or thoughts?

I'm a senior AD and all the resources out there are for juniors. I'm not sure what I need - I feel pretty confident in most areas - so maybe all I need is time to practice and get better. But is there something you did/wish you'd done to improve your abilities, develop your career path, or open your mind?

Junior here. How common is it to be nudged off a brief when you can't get ideas through internally? My partner and I are often put on the same briefs as more experienced (sometimes senior) teams. As a result, their work tends to make it through to the client presentation while most of ours dies somewhere along the way from CD to CCO. Is this worth worrying over?
