I'm extremely scared and feeling stuck about a possible AI bubble popping.

I currently have a job and I disagree with a lot of ways my company have been implementing AI. Because of that, I think AI bubble burst would hit it pretty hard.

On the other end, I've been failing at job hunting for months. And I'm also scared to actually pass to a company and then being laid off when the AI bubble burst.

Is anyone else feeling stuck like this? Any tips?

I’m in the final rounds with a small consulting firm based in TX, but unsure if jumping would be the wisest choice given the current economic conditions — of course, staying at Accenture does not mean I’m not at risk of being laid off if things take a turn for the worst.

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.
