I’m freelancing w/ a day rate. The resource manager asked me to adjust my invoice as the day before thanksgiving was a 1/2 day. Is this right? I thought a day rate was the same if you work 5 or 20 hrs

I was offered RSUs for the first time as part of my compensation. I think I understand the concept as such but there are a few intricacies I was looking to clarify. Could anyone let me know if my grant date is 9th nov, 2022 and vesting period is 1 year, will I get RSUs allotted at the price of stock on grant date or vest date (in this case 9th nov, 2023)? Now that I’m out, I graduated with my BA in Econ, got a job I love, and somehow got into an M7 Bschool with a 670 GMAT. I look back on my time in and laugh, and still talk with some of my old army buddies (though not as often anymore)

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
