Currently a staff in audit - 6 months in. Glad to be learning a lot, and have had a generally positive experience at the firm other than a few interactions, some tough busy season nights. Really been intrigued by TAS/M&A, however, and had a few convos with a senior in TAS i know at the firm. It’s closer to what I studied, but don’t know how to make the jump as it seems an internal transfer could take 6+months/senior rank and a lot of convincing. Is it better to jump firms/has anyone done this?

Amazon said they will keep my resume for 6 months and if there is another location open with the same position, I should apply and I would not need to Interview anymore. well several positions have been open and i have applied and also contacted the that recruiter but no reply. I applied and got a position for aws . I got an offer and asked some questions. I didn't get a reply, from multiple individuals. Two weeks later received a phone call that my recruiter was let go and I was in limbo essentially, they said they'd get in touch with me closer to the timeline we discussed and they were sorry about the mixup. I called back the person to get more information (since I was running errands) and nothing again. No response and no other way to contact this person. Ideas?
