I'm involved in a personal case that I'm the lead counsel on. I decided I wanted to handle it because every attroney I talked to I didn't end up trusting to handle it for one reason or another. I'm having issues with it. I'm losing sleep over it, and just feeling very stressed. It's set to go to trial at the end of the month and the closer it gets the harder it gets.

I've been completely objective and rational the whole time but the closer it gets to trial the more stressed I'm feeling.

I was in a car accident a few years ago and handled my own case with insurance. The process went very smoothly, but it was still incredibly stressful and upsetting for me. It was a really personal experience, and it was difficult to spend so much time and energy thinking about something that was life changing (in a negative way) for me.

I don’t have any advice, but wanted to wish you the best. I can only imagine how much worse it would have been if I had to go through litigation. Hang in there, you’re so close!

Thank you!

Any advice as to how to help my other-half (who has bouts of anxiety and depression) apply to jobs? He’s going through a particularly rough patch at the moment.
