Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.

Hi I have 1 year experience in SAP Fico in capgemini and have ctc of 4.25 lakhs. I cleared two technical rounda where deep domain related questions were asked and it seems interview went very well and told I be getting Hr call for further process. Fishes please tell me how much hike should I ask from infosys for Associate consultant : SAP Fico position? I was thinking to ask 100 percent hike ie. 8.5 lakhs. I read on glassdoor the avg salary is 8.5 lakhs. Please help me how much hike should i ask Capgemini

The usual progression is 10 days in year 1, 15 days, year 2, 20 days year 5, 25 days year 10

Holidays are what they are though and relative to consulting, if client worked, we worked and it became a floater.
I’m used to a week off for Christmas and its scarring me that I don’t get a week to recharge without using nearly half my PTO. Have a family wedding I wanted to go to too but that would barely cover that.
Your PTO will build back up
Your WLB will likely be much better overall and you likely won’t be as paranoid about accounting for every hour. Work remote, take the days off where you are completely unavailable but otherwise just relax and check email and slack in case something comes up.
Deloitte trains and develops its people best of the Big4 firms but it also instills a culture that contributes to becoming a workaholic. Amazon will work you hard but it’s not the same kind of constant drone of sales, revenue and utilization.
