Thoughts on exit options for Cap Markets/M&A, including both legal and non-legal? I’m Australian considering moving to NY with more cap markets experience under my belt than M&A, not sure if I should go harder for a M&A role for the exit options. Any thoughts?

I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. Few tips for looking at exits:

1) Referrals are a huge tool for getting your foot in the door. At Facebook it guarantees that atleast your resume is given more than a glance.

I am a big fan of SAP and its work culture. I have ITIL certification along with Azure Fundamentals. I am trying hard to get a job as a associate manager or manager role in SAP. Motorworks Brewing in Florida did this years ago, and now Uncommon just did the exact same thing for Brewdog beer.

Straight up plagiarism imo. Literally search "adoptable dog on beer can" and the Motorworks stuff comes up, so not googling the idea beforehand is not an excuse.

Are there any agencies where creatives actually have good work-life balance in LA, SF or anywhere else for that matter? Like no weekends or no working more than a 40-50hr week? Or do I have to go in house for this? Or do I have to leave advertising altogether?
