In a fortunate position where I could have a job offer for a really exciting opportunity by the end of the week. But... it sounds like it’s going to be a ton of work, and I’m battling a year’s-worth of burn out. I’m not sure if I’m up for it, and I keep debating just quitting my current job and moving back to my parents’ house for a few months. How did you know it was time to push through vs take a step back? (I know it’s highly personal, but could use some perspective.)

I once asked a colleague at a radio company how much he's paid monthly, and he outright refused to tell me. In fact, he found it very odd that I asked. I later learned that he was making double my salary. I know it's not an employee's job to fix pay inequity by sharing their salary figures, but I'm still of the opinion that it helps uncover pay gaps. Struggling with identity now that I’ve finally, truly accepted depression/anxiety are medical conditions I need meds for. I love who I am on meds, but I hate feeling like that isn’t “the real me."

I started a new job recently and then had my PTSD seriously triggered, plus a panic attack. Felt so on edge and low on emotional resources for over a week that I wasn’t myself and apparently really rubbed a few people the wrong way so I was called in for a talking to 😣. I let people know there were some personal things going on, but didn’t mention the PTSD—very unsure if that’s something to share, or if I’d be judged for it or... I don’t even know.
