Interviewed someone the other day who was vaping the entire time. I am fairly forgiving when it comes to attire/formality. I just try to focus on the work in front of me, but that was way too casual for me.

Am I blowing this out of proportion?

Anyone witness slackers who got into companies you have no idea how? Had a coworker who does jack chit at work besides chatting on Facebook yet lands at a faang company? I guess if he brings the same work ethic he will be spit out for sure. Or maybe he just had no interest in doing project work.

We’re in such a vicious business. You give your heart & soul to an agency, a client, a brand. Then the wind changes & you’re laid off, reassigned, chewed up, spit out, on to the next. I’m tired.

“have fun with this brief” they say before telling you the client is pretty conservative and needs to have safer options.

i know we don’t always work on stuff we’re thrilled about but i’ve never dreaded reviews for a client before until now
