Hello everyone!
Can anyone please explain the promotion process followed here and specially at LCCI? If there's any minimum criteria like X no of years in a particular level, etc. followed while checking eligibility of an employee?
And also - what's the hike/increment range usually at the time of promotion?
Eli Lilly and Company.
Any leads would be highly helpful.
Thank you!

SoCal is huge, live well is subjective. But 185k is also a lot of money for many.
Age, family/dependents, liabilities & long term financial goals?
Lower middle class of family of 3+ but if solo then ur doing okay
Depends on where in SoCal but I’d say so. And of course the answer might be different if you have a spouse and 3 kids
Pro
Define SoCal. In santa ana, yes. In laguna beach, prolly not
Chief
Irvine has almost no litter, homeless people or crime.
More like Singapore (the suburban version), less like SF
I would feel a lot better making that ....
Yes I live in socal. Rent for 1 br is 2k+ for me. Should've ran when I could 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I make probably less than half once we factor in relative bonus but around there. So cheers.
Isn't the average income literally a third of that? Lol
What about Manhattan Beach area?

I think so
However, that depends on your expectations
185 base?
You probably dont have a family; so yes that’s good. My brother makes a little more, is single and lives nice but can’t save money. My husband and I together bring in a lil over double that, and it’s barely our bills in CA, but we help our extended family. So really depends on your situation. If you are single, should be good.
Why can’t he save money
Live well is subjective. What’s your definition OP?
Absolutely. I live in Los Angeles and when I moved here I had a salary of 180 (summer of 220). I bought a place (2B/2B condo) save 2.5k to invest each month (after maxing my 401k) and never think twice about going out to dinner or buying concert tickets or buying flights for a vacation etc.
Would be harder with 2 kids and realistically my wife (If I had that life) would need to work, but as a single person 185 salary is totally sufficient to live anywhere in SoCal
