Graduating from a Top-10 working professional MBA in May (top-20 on the overall list) and have been incredibly pleased with the result.
I am actually transitioning to strategy consulting post-graduation, but my current company has also given me a meaningful promotion on corporate finance team.
Why do you want the mba?
Top 10 mba are the only ones that hold prestige, the ones below really don’t matter much.
You won’t really get the network from doing it part time.
And you don’t get much benefit from the coursework cause you already have a business background.
Spoken by someone that obviously doesn’t have an MBA and the valuable education you get from it, so he tries to devalue it. #Hater 👌👌👌
I loved my PMBA. 10/10 would do again.
As long as you aren’t trying to switch careers, part-time MBA is fine
Do the MBA - worth the investment
In some schools, you’ll have access to the same recruiting opportunities.
Post-MBA, full vs part-time has no impact on your progress.
I did part-time at a top 10 school and am really happy with it.
Wait for a "recession" to go to school. Worth the time and money.
