Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Top companies for brand manager exits
Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

PM no question.
BizOps is a back office function and a cost center. A PM sets the direction and owns a revenue generating asset, regardless of company size.

This is not always true

Im actually surprised by these comments. Some people forget that FAANG are huge companies and you have to take each role/business unit on a case by case basis. At Apple, Direct Procurement Strategy is part of Biz Ops for example.

Actually /you’re/ oversimplifying by saying that PM would /always/ win when I just provided you with an example where it doesn’t. Business ops is also a nebulous area, but it often overlaps with biz dev/strategy which are profit drivers. Direct procurement is also a profit driver (albeit not a revenue driver).
Even like PM at a small/midsized tech company? Wow that’s surprising

PM dude.
Ok- what about biz dev and strategy though? Would a strategy role at FAANG be better than PM?
