Hi. I am currently on bench with 1 year experience (band 6A). Kind of stressed out now since I am not getting any interview calls. I have also used GOM to apply for roles. I was mostly doing support work in my previous role. What can I do to get into a project other than contacting pem and rsa regularly and doing certifications?? IBM

Since EVERYONE SAYS DIFFERENT STUFF and MBB doesn’t show any deadline at all! I don’t understand this mess. Could anyone please help? (Ps career event can’t join since always error at Bain)
The earlier you switch, the better. If you know where you want to be, do it now. Trust me, it’ll just get harder to switch the longer you wait.
Agree. The longer you wait, the harder it is to switch.
Also if you went to a top 50 law school and have great grades, the transition will be easier. Big law will also take a look at smart people but I would move early in your career.
I agree with the prior commentators. The sooner you make the transition, the better. It will not get any easier. It's tough to move to an area where you don't have any experience. Suggest you think about leveraging your healthcare knowledge and expertise into the securities area. Healthcare securities work should be a hot area for the foreseeable future. Now is the time. If the Big Law firms are not interested and you desperately want to move into securities work, reach out to midsize firms and boutiques. As usual, your relationships will be key to making a successful move. Good luck.
