McKinsey & Company I am joining the McKinsey & Company Boston office in late July and searching for housing in the meantime. If I could get some insight on the ratio of days in the office vs work from home that would be super helpful!
If I need to come into the office regularly I will try to find a place close by.

As long as you get to put the BCG brand on your resume who cares? There will always be people at any institution who like to see others as second class - eg oh he didn’t go to a top school like I did; oh he works on non-strategy projects; oh he is not core generalist; and the list goes on.
I wouldn’t give up a good career opportunity just because someone sees me as second class citizen.
I’d say more around 10% at the lower levels, but with our bonus structure it can even out (e.g., made core C TC this year as the Platinion equivalent). Plus, it all ends up evening out at the Principal level (both base and bonus).
There’s some internal re-alignment happening right now which should bring some comp adjustments though which’ll equal things out.
Oo, yeah probably gonna be longer (>2 years) outside of NAMR unfortunately..

Bigger projects, more long term -> lower price, else scare customers away too much -> lower margins -> lower salary
It's a very very different life in PLA. If you're on delivery Roles, you're potentially wearing 2 to 3 different hats at the same time. I.e. solution architect, pm, engagement lead etc.
But if you're on Transformation strategy cases, life's a lot more interesting.
Due to our rates, we primarily undertake the latter. Though I was unfortunate to be staffed an entire year on the former kind of case, fully remote, across two timezones. Yah nah
