Is the timing to obtain a Green Card mostly dependent on the applying firm or the USCIS? How long? Thinking of making a dash to get it before I possibly get kicked out (I'm an L1 from 🇬🇧)

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). It’s a 4 year degree and under this I have my High School equivalent with the years I attended there. The education wasn’t mentioned in the interviews. Continued below.

Can someone tell how to prepare for interviews?
What type of questions will be ask regarding projects?
Please share your experience.

Had a final round at BCG last Friday. After the interviews they said that the would release results today. Then I got an email today saying they will only give the results on the next Friday. What could have happened?? I also know some people how interviewed on the same day as mine and got a rejection email today.

How are you guys thinking about booking appointments for 1st time H1B stamping? Every time I open the site, there are no slots available for 2022. I’m sure majority of you have faced the same. Also, heard that some people have reached out to agents and got their booking done via them. Is that even a safe option? If you see an open job posting at a company you want to work for, what steps do you take to apply? I’ve been told that cold applying and making no contacts is usually not going to lead to anything, and that’s been true in my experience. But should I reach out to someone first? Should i apply and then email someone? In HR? Or someone who’d be directly supervising me? Or someone at my level? And what should i say? Thanks!

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

Ratings on three projects - 3,2,2. Utilization - 90%... Proposal hours - 15... Firm activities - 43 hrs... I then get a YE rating of 4 😕 ... How worried I should be regarding the layoffs???
