It makes me really sad to see so many young people still going out and partying. In a couple of weeks it’ll be the elderly, sick, and healthcare people who will have to carry the burden.

Millenial checking in here, I'm taking it very seriously and urging my friends to as well. We're not all ignorant, just like not all boomers are ignoring the warning signs because of Fox News. Generalizing won't get us anywhere but I understand your frustration. Stay safe.

Manager 1 you are an ass. Unless that was a joke.

So the U.K. has decided to try and quarantine old people to keep them safe until herd immunity is developed and we have capacity to treat them. I’d also say, from what I’ve seen, the statement above isn’t necessarily true. My experience has been seeing lots of elderly at the shops stripping the shelves when really, they should be avoiding public spaces IMO.

Taking it very seriously here and urging all my peers to do the same. Hoping the older generations consider returning the favor with regard to climate change action.

like

Not sure why you say it’s the older generation that doesn’t care about climate change. I see plenty of young people on Facebook who believe anything the current administration says and they say climate change is bs. I know plenty of the older generation that actually does care.

I hope these people know that it will be someone else’s loved one who ends up needing critical care. Someone else’s loved one who has to work around the clock in the hospital. I don’t want to see the US become like Wuhan or Italy where healthcare workers literally have to make a decision as to who lives and who dies.

South Florida here. Bunch of old people were packed inside and outside a local hot spot last night. Can we all agree that it’s not about age? It’s entitled New Yorkers of all ages who are the problem.

like

Most of the old people in South Florida ARE New Yorkers (like the Jet Blue case) and it’s fun to provoke New Yorkers

OP, relax.

Hi! I have a few questions on the backdoor Roth in which I’ve done a bit of research online. When it comes tax time, will my 401k vendor (Merrill) give me the correct documents? I’m just nervous in the entire process as this is my first year doing this. TIA!!

I’m mentally breaking down because I have been doing a job of a scheduler, PM, notetaker, regulatory submissions, and thus have no room for growth to work on strategy. I’m an AS and I am so sick of having to remind everyone because no one looks at my notes, recaps, and no one remembers anything from any meeting. Recently because I’m so exhausted I started making more “mistakes” like not catching a mistake on a submission. Is this because I suck or is it time for me to move off? I feel terrible.

I got hired as a freelancer on a project. 2 days in and we’re off to a slow start getting access to what I need. It’s paid hourly. I blocked out time to work a full day knowing I’d dive right in but that’s not how it turned out. My question is do I bill the full day even though I only put in a few hours of kick off calls and contacting folks to get access to the things I need? It’s not my fault they were disorganized. What would you do?
