Hey Fishes,
Require urgent suggestions
I will be joining Oracle Financial Services Software(OFSS) and I am worried about job security considering the layoffs that will be happening in Oracle as per below link:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.crn.com/news/cloud/oracle-considered-1b-in-cuts-thousands-of-layoffs-report&ved=2ahUKEwjv0Lyb3-34AhX29zgGHZGqBBYQ0PADKAB6BAgEEAE&usg=AOvVaw0c9Bz3n-mb4BhVdPKvIXnE
Require suggestions on whether it would be a wise call to move to OFSS now.

Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.
Larsen & Toubro Infotech Hi folks, Please help me which organisation should I go with Citius tech or LTimindtree? As recession is approaching and due to which layoffs are going on as we all know so which one is more safe to join. Please share your thoughts, which will help me to take the decision.

JPMorgan Chase recently introduced a policy change to increase the notice period to 60 days. I'm a 602 and resigned recently and yet my LWD is showing up as 30 days from now. Anyone recently resigned can confirm if they are facing the same or new policy is in effect. This is causing confusion with the next companies I'm interviewing with.

Stick with what you love. Also, look beyond agencies and explore consultancies and design shops.
Look at other insights-based strategy roles. Branding houses, research firms, innovation firms. It might help to think of communications/marketing/whatever your old workplace's output was as just that - an output - while thinking about your role as a skillset that can be applied to several kinds of outputs. New products, new brands, etc.
Depends on your financial situation. If you have the means, stick with what you love. It took me 10 months to land a new gig and I regretted none of it. If money's tight, also consider looking into analyst roles.
If you like strategy it’s unlikely you’ll be happy as an account person. While good account people must be strategic, good strategists need to be independent from the account management part of the business. You need to fight for good ideas and great creative, not be hounding ABMs for a signature on an SOW or trying to broaden your scope
I spent my first year in account management, for that very reason of getting a foot in the door. So I wouldn't discount it. It wasn't for me, and I wasn't very good at it, but it taught me a lot about how this business actually works, and helped me appreciate the thankless job of being an AE: Worth a look if it helps you get in with a group of people you believe in and want to work with
Where are you located and are you willing to move. I know our company is looking
Where are you located? MRM in Princeton has an associate strat opening
Check out our careers. Don’t do account.
Strategy pays much more too

I’m in NYC. Yes, I’d be open to it, depends where
Yes I saw that, I’m in NYC but would prefer to stay here because of the pool of opportunities within advertising
Go back to school. Get an MBA
How long you been a junior? Might be time to upgrade to a regular strategist.
Also, yeah, if you can go get an MBA, it's gonna add like 30k-50k in salary every year. I'm looking forward to getting mine in a few years but wish I could have got it sooner
