I’ve had three different recruiters reach out to me this week for exciting controller opportunities that turn out to be $80k roles in high-cost-of-living cities. When I try to push back on the salary range, they just stop responding entirely without even a thanks, but no thanks. Is the market actually cooling down for mid-to-senior levels, or are recruiters just getting lazier with their outreach?

This year i was wrongly given C band and because of that my incentives are now paused. But the thing is my compensation letter still says my ctc is 8lpa. But in my salary slips I'm not receiving according to ctc. Currently I'm serving notice period and told the other company that my ctc is 8lpa. For anyone who receives a quarterly bonus or raise in some form, does your employer start to schedule you for less hours when your raise kicks in, or pull you from a future schedule entirely once you receive a bonus; only to put you back on once the hours you would have worked and earned the amount given are passed? Ie; a part time employee getting $200.00 in a quarterly bonus and then not being scheduled a whole week during a bi-weekly pay period where they would have earned more on the clock…?
