I've risen in my org to a Sr. Director level running a virtual BU, but seem to have maxed out my title and responsibility despite a history of exceptional results & solid relationships. A mentor ~3 years back was pushing me for VP, but left for a CRO role and since have been stagnant despite doing my best work. I know I'm paid well and have an excellent brand, but feel like I could be doing more. I'm also highly visible making a search externally difficult. Any ideas on breaking out?

I agree. On this path today, but I picked a heck of a time to be doing a job search. I’ve had 2 of the 3 opportunities paused with hiring freezes at those companies. Interviewing with the CEO next week on the third.

Sales or Sales Ops?

My team just moved under the sales organization, but my responsibility is closer to a GM with a bias toward overall GTM strategy & alignment, solution building, and partner/services development. My team spends about 30-40% of our time directly in front of customers as a sales overlay, but I wouldn't term us "sales" today. More of a corporate function.

Have you just gone and asked for a VP position? They may not know that’s what you want if an ex-employee was pushing for it. If they can’t do it now, maybe they can put you on a path to promotion.

Yes. My old boss was sponsoring me. When he left, I was tucked under an executive that was more competitive than supportive.

Jumping off a related topic: am I delusional to not care about jr/int/sr level titles? I've been a "copywriter" since the day I started and steadily gained responsibility, autonomy, and money. Happy with career progression, always getting juicier assignments, work directly with ECDs/CCOs... am I missing something crucial? Is my case an anomaly? I owned a business for 6 yrs and had a B2C sales role for 3 yrs after (not SaaS). I’ve now been a B2B2C Key Account Manager at a Fitness Tech scale up for 6 mos and would like to be making more $ so am considering applying to other B2B SaaS companies. I've been a government attorney for nearly three years now and have worked in the same office/division since I passed the bar. I've yet to receive a promotion other than two cost of living increases (in sum, a pay increase of 6k over 3 years). I know this is meager, but I'm mostly ok with it, I just want to see some recognition. Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

Ok so I was carless -- I was assembling my new bed frame and one as I was grabbing one of the long parts; I set it vertically and my fan was on and hit the edge. I literally just moved in 5 days ago and I already scratched these pristine fans, I'm irate and I want to fix it.
