Just got an offer letter to work in the GPS practice of EY for 110K and 8K sign on bonus. Recently asked my boss for a raise/promotion at Booz and he said he couldn’t do anything for me. I’m only making 92K with Booz. Do I follow the money? I’m worried EY will have no WLB.

Currently working as a Relationship Banker. Haven’t had no complaints with how Chase has handled the pandemic from the consumer banking side. Recently I was asked if I was interested in a Financial solutions advisor role at Bank of America. Things have slowly began to pick up at our branch and while I would like to continue my career at Chase. The bump in base salary increases as well as the earning potential. Any advice on how to make a decision? Things to consider besides pay?

First year here. Working with a partner for the first time. They asked me to work on a due diligence memo. They told me to write about 2 paragraphs. They provided examples but all were 10-15 paragraphs long. I received edits this morning and I get back 6 paragraphs. I felt like I could have wrote the 6, but I wrote the 2 like I was told. Is this a normal thing? I haven’t had a partner do that to me before. Now, I’m frustrated because I feel like I didn’t do a good job.
