sorry that happened, that's shit at the best of times.
don't day a word about being pregnant. put yourself first, always. it's nobody's business other than your own right now. once you get a job you can work our how best to handle it with them then. take a few days to deal with the shock and then get at the job hunt.
you'll be OK.
Congratulations on your pregnancy! ❤️
Tell your new employer you’re pregnant after you get an offer. Work out your maternity leave options after you’ve negotiated your salary, PTO, and whatever else. Good luck!
After you’ve signed a contract too!
My wife got laid off the day we found out she was preggers and found a new job 3 months later.
Isn’t the rule of thumb not to tell?
I’ve literally heard a ceo say that women are crazy to think they’ll get hired when pregnant. Never tell them. Watch out for your own
This was two years ago.
Keep applying. You don’t have to tell anyone you’re pregnant! I got hired at 7 months. You can too
Also had a coworker get a job at 9 months pregnant!
First of all, congrats to you mama! Hope you are feeling well. I know 3 women personally who were hired while pregnant, so I know it’s feasible and should be moving in the direction of NON ISSUE soon. While I wouldn’t mention it during interviews, and they can’t ask, you take your time and mention when you’re comfortable after you’re hired. Deep breaths. You got this!
Congrats baby mama! Some companies have been adapting to this situation and you may be surprised at how you get hired. I’d agree to wait till you get the offer AND THEN take that step. No rush, nail the gig down first. If they like you, it won’t matter at all.
Also yes start looking
Get hired first then tell them your pregnant after a month or two. Get that money. Once you’re hired they can’t do anything. Get that PTO when your baby is born.
