Just had a weird and awkward interview for a role I want. Is it weird to acknowledge that it was weird and awkward in my follow up?

I have been offered the role of Senior Associate BIM at Axtria with a fixed CTC of 16LPA. I have 3 years of experience in data engineering. I have another offer of 16 LPA from Deloitte India, should I negotiate for more with Axtria?

Also, I have selected Pune as my location, so will the on boarding be a virtual one?

Thoughts on “special” salary grades. I just found out the VP I was offered is not a grade 12 like most comparable roles (verified). Also not an 11, but an 11A. Slightly higher than an 11, a good bit lower than a 12. All due to the fact that it’s a leap from my current position. Why should that matter…..shouldn’t it pay what it should pay if I am selected, rather that curving down towards my current rate?

Is it common to offer signing bonuses for product managers? I've only worked in small companies and I'm currently interviewing at a much larger company. I am expecting an offer this week, but the salary isn't quite where I want it to be. A signing bonus of 5 or 10k would make me feel so much better (obviously) but it would put me right where I want to be for salary this year. I've never worked on anything for TikTok and hope I never have to. TikTok is from hell. I was on it one time for about 10 minutes and could feel myself becoming mentally unwell in just those 10 minutes. The human brain is not designed to deal with the sheer amount of sensory overload that app gives you. I'm pretty sure TikTok is one of the main reasons we are constantly hearing about how much Gen Z struggles with mental health.

How did your agency handle layoffs? All-agency meeting before they started? After they ended? Both?
