Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC bangalore rescinding an offer given the current market condition? The role in my offer letter seems to be pretty generic and during interviews, it didn't look like, they were interviewing for a particular project or team. I have doubts specifically because of HR's behaviour during the whole recruitment process where they never responded to my emails or calls. Is this normal practice?

Does anyone have any ideas how I can leverage my experience (~5 YoE) to a role that *isn’t* a manufacturing plant in the middle of comparably nowhere? Sometimes I do feel regretful that I didn’t fall arse-backwards into finance or software development.
Even better, is there anyone out there who is/was a PLC automation engineer/integrator that found success career-wise in urban areas?
5 years of automation experience is actually more transferable than most people realize. The key is how it's positioned on your resume, industries like tech, logistics, smart manufacturing and even defense actively look for this background in urban markets. It's less about switching careers and more about reframing what you already have.
There are options working for a Systems Integrator, doing project work. If you're open to relocating and to some project-related travel. Is your PLC Rockwell, or something smaller? Do you program the HMIs as well, or more on the PM side lately?
I work mostly with Rockwell PLCs, just dipping into Delta V for a new site. I can program HMIs definitely. I’ve taken the Rockwell classes, I’ve stripped down code while supporting deviation investigations, I’m quite comfortable with programming. But the job that I’m in is 80% project management and 20% actual code. We rely heavily on consultants for really technical work, and that’s just the culture at my current company.
