KPMG and Deloitte- do you guys match 401k in the first year? (PwC does, EY does not)

EY doesn’t even pay for lunch

like

Match is only 1 year in at ACN. 100% vesting is two years in

like

Deloitte does 25% up to 6%
KPMG does 50% up to 5%

Vesting period is a different story. I believe it’s 3 years or something along that line.

Pretty sure we do not

No

KPMG definitely does

KPMG does, it just takes 3 years (or 4, can’t remember) for it to vest

KPMG doesn’t match the first year. I just joined. Your eligible to contribute to your own 401k after 90days. KPMG contributes after 1 year. And vesting is 20% a year so 5 years to vest fully

Deloitte does

ACN in 2 years for match (6%) but you get the 15% ESPP right away but it is a six month enrollment.

K2 how long did your interview process take.

Hi all,
I’m currently working for a small technical consulting start-up firm. I make good money, have great benefits, and they seem very happy with the work I’m doing, so I know I could move up quickly. However, tech consulting is definitely not my dream job. I want to get into data analytics, and I have an offer from a big company to do just that. I’ve only been at my current company for about 8 months, but I don’t ever see myself loving this job. How do I know when it’s time to make a change?

Hey Bowl,
I work for a late stage(ipo) start up, earlier this year we were acquired & since then they got rid of our yearly bonuses and gave us an ESOP grant.
2 RIFs later we are almost bare bones. Since we are coming up on our usual yearly evaluations many of us assumed (with multiple conversation from our managers) that pay raises and promotions were due.
In a recent All hands we found out that this year there will be no pay raises nor promotions based off merit. Is it time to jump ship?

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

My company blames my generation for not being able to hire everyday. “You guys don’t want to work” coming from some overweight, racist, old coaster. I’ve barely taken any days off this year and pick up “skeleton crew” days any chance I get. I was able to work out a deal with my company before I came because of prior experience luckily, but they offer a terrible base salary and sham of a commission structure to new hires + no remote. Then sit here and can’t figure out why…
