Just finished a 5th round interview at a tech company. Recruiter said I came in on the top for rankings after the 4th interview, but said the 5th interviewer marked me as a “no hire” decision. The recruiter clearly did not agree with his reasonings as most were unsubstantiated and polar opposites of the other 4 interviewers views.
Would you accept an offer for a company where someone who is part of the x-functional team (ie. not a direct manager or daily team member) marked you as a no-go?
