Among the many issues of that airport, LAX has a land problem. I wish they would just build an airport out in the water like they did in Osaka. But, then again, they'll never jeopardize those beaches.

likesmart

I was last here four years ago and there were banners about a billion dollar renovation all over the place. It seems worse now.

likefunny

As a Los Angeles native who has been to LAX probably several hundred times, I also believe it will never get better. Sigh.

The loop concept in general needs to end. Either that or they quadruple the size of the loop.

You need to follow LAX Twitter

It's actually a very dumb infrastructure. It's one loop (except for one terminal shortcut) - why does everyone have to go through the line for every terminal to get in or out?! Who designed that garbage?

Going to terminal 5? gotta go through the traffic of people waiting/dropping off/picking up terminals 1-4 first!

No wonder people are moving to Texas, better airport roads!

likefunny

Regardless - still not worth moving to Texas.

Burbank, Ontario and Santa Ana airports work great for domestic flights, including to. LAX is doable for the occasional international flight.

SNA is great. The OC is great place to live too.

So… 3.5 year relationship came crashing in Jan due to covid depression, work burn out, lockdown etc. We have stayed in contact and recently he has come around to apologizing and considering getting back together. However he also revealed he started seeing someone casually 4 weeks ago and technically is cheating on her by meeting me for coffee and to discuss this. I’m upset that he’s dating others but shouldn’t be right? I mean, I did the same. Still hurts though. And I told him to sort that out

Every night for like the past month I’ve been getting incredibly emotional about adulthood. I miss the lack of responsibility, the simplicity of life, friends were always around, and less pressure to be successful.
