Guys , whoever is interviewing and planning to join , do ask project availablity on priority basis before you take decision. On Java front looks like there is some project issue due to recent slowdown in market. My offer was not revised even after agreement with recruiter because of this.

I forget the exact term but in consulting, if you’ve been at the same client with no breaks for over a year, your expenses start getting counted as part of your income. My old firm would then pay the gross up of the taxed expenses (difference between the actual expense and how much it was taxed). Due to this, I’m being pushed to a higher bracket.. My tax returns have always been pretty simple and now when I file last year’s it looks like I made an X amount of money which is now being taxed at a higher rate. Is there a way for me to file my pure income rather than my income plus expenses? Any sort of tax relief for consultants? Thank you all in advance!
The term is Long Term Travel (LTT). Not sure I follow you previous firm does the gross up so you only pay tax as if you did not incur the expense income. Isn’t that the relief?
As a side note - this does increase your income level and phase you out of a lot of credits and deductions you could normally take. Can’t do anything about this effect.
At Accenture the term is “compensatory" and they pretty much require you to have a professional do your taxes, so I would go that route if you haven’t already
