I’ll go first- Argonaut just laid off a lot of people right before the Dec. 9th bonus dispersal date that was promised for folks who had been employed since March 2020. Those crazy kids! Always up to something silly!

Best advice for surviving busy season?
Never used BlueJeans, Webex is ok, Teams is amazing.
Give Teams an honest try:
- works well and you know what you’re doing
- good audio/video quality (nothing like Skype)
- knows your organization so search results are sorted by hierarchy proximity
- unified experience cross-platform
- simple, OneDrive/Dropbox like, document sharing through sharepoint: like a network drive but with document versioning and same time editing through Office365
- many out-of-the box addons like tasks - basically same as Trello, so enough for most of my projects
- lastly, should you have any specific need, you can create custom apps with PowerApps and PowerFlow, directly from a web app and in less than an hour.
Teams is what Sharepoint should have always been and destroys any collaborative solution I have ever seen
Lots of Teams hate in the world, but I'm on board. It's to the point with addons that it can be most of my ecosystem to work in. Collaboration with o365 has improved so much in the last few years (although I never open a document in Teams itself).
For different projects I'm still stuck in Skype (horrible interface that doesnt work much of the time), Zoom (I like, but doesnt have as much prebuilt collaboration tools), and Slack.
Slack looks like a great tool, but I'm an old who havent given over to trying to replace emails with this as they advertise. Don't know if anyone does??. Good interface, but I dont know I give it any more props than Teams.
Teams hands down, first time I used something MS that seemingly works really well. So much better than Skype.
Agree. So frustrating when we have to swop back to Skype for Business when calling some of the offices that haven't switched to Teams yet.
For meetings? WebEx. For collaboration? Slack. Never teams and wth uses BlueJeans?
I can’t wait til the day when I get to Never use any Microsoft products ever again.
...but I digress.
I vote for Slack & Zoom
This is Microsoft:

Zoom and slack. Or google meetins
Devops
Teams and Zoom. That’s what I have access to. Zoom is good for meetings and Teams is slowly growing on me. Better than email for many communication pattens.
Slack
Used them all at some point.
Slack is the most intuitive when it comes to chat, especially on mobile. Besides chat, I used it most often to call co-workers in different countries when we needed to speak on the fly. It was cool.
Teams is better overall for collaboration, group editing, and app integrations. It has chat and conference call capabilities plus scheduling from Outlook. I like Teams.
WebEx is the corporate conference call app that’s been around forever.
BlueJeans was the newest for me. A client used it for conference calls. Don’t know of any other capabilities with it. No problems.
Zoom seems popular with start-ups and small businesses for video conferencing. They are the only ones I’ve worked with that send invites from Zoom. Guess it’s low cost. I never had problem with it.
I’ve also used RingCentral and GoTo Meetings. Meh to both.
Agreed!
I have used the whole set and honestly Teams is crushing it. They have the stream recording with transcription, and the whiteboard for tablet users. Check their feature pipeline and it is looking great
I don't understand the hate against MS Teams in this thread. It's great from a colloboration perspective. If you've ever used Basecamp it reminds me of that but with better integration into the rest of the MS Suite. My biggest complaint is that you can't pop out windows for individual chats, teams, or channels so you can't fully multi-task. If they fix that I'm all in.
I like Teams. I’m working with Teams. I deploy Teams. My only concerns that Teams slowly becomes 200 pound gorilla. MS keeps putting to much capabilities intro the platform.
We started using Teams around a year ago. At first it seemed like a clone of Slack. But, it's been improving a lot, and it's integration with other Microsoft products is incredible. Not a fan of Microsoft in general, but it's a big step up from Skype for Business and all the other isolated tools we used to use.
Zoom FTW, Teams close second at premium sub. Cisco did to WebEx what MS did to TellMe
Hangouts Meet :)
Zoom+slack
Zoom
UPD: for audio and video conferencing
Adobe professional services uses BlueJeans. I was working on an engagement with them. The audio quality was actually pretty good.
Oops. I’ll defer to you
Blue jeans
We use Blue Jeans and Slack and the combination works great. Blue Jeans is good, has the features that we need - easy Outlook integration, integration with conference rooms is good, video sharing and recording is on point. Had only one big outage for an hour, so not bad.
Used MS teams in my prior job, felt it was trying too hard to be Slack and Skype together (not that I can blame MS for it).
My phone: because it works
Teams, but I wasn’t aware that WebEx did more than meetings. Never heard of blue jeans.
