How does a person change their mindset to be more positive? I feel like I’m meant for my job, but blame all my life problems on it….having no energy, being single at the age of 30, etc. and it seems like a never ending loop. I look for new jobs, realize I have a good job then am ok for a bit then start it all over again. When I’m off of work I’m fine and realize I have it pretty good. Only real negative is I can’t vacation with my family in March due to my busy time.

Currently live in NYC and I absolutely hate it as I love mountains and playing outdoors. I can either relocate now and have a stagnant but decent career that will allow me to enjoy my life. Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. How do people focus in the office? I'm a first year and I've been mostly wfh since I started and I'm super productive at home - my setup is comfortable, I rarely get interrupted, and I feel like I can stay really focused in my home office.

Our SAs started today, so the firm is making us come in more often. My office set up is so awkward, screens are too small, and I'm constantly getting interrupted. Not to mention the extra time it took to get ready and commute. How do people do this?
