A&M having great pay is a controversial statement. You’re on a financial roller coaster.
A1, what are the hours looking like in CFO Services? I've heard from some its avg 40-50 hrs and others have said 60+ hrs. Currently in FP&A so would be joining the team more oriented to that.
How is 220k meh? How many yoe? Idk that sounds pretty good with that comp for an easy job. Especially in this job market much more experienced people looking for jobs rn. I’d hold tight Atleast until things get better.
Must be nice. Making way less than that

I’m going to assume you’d be coming in as a SD. SD can easily pull 400k in a bad year and 550k in a mid tier year. I’m trying to finish out my vesting but will be back in convo with A&M in 2023 about joining.
There is such a thing, but it centres around getting shxt done. Less fluff, less leverage and getting your hands dirty. My observation is some ex-big4 don’t transition well, but those with substance and a track record of getting results typically do, providing they’re willing to adapt a little
But to leave 220 for 45 hours a week seems like you’d be only chasing money, it might not be worth making 350/400 if you’re working 65 hours a week. also they title demote so you may come in as a manager which means around 300 TC

The A&M way is working your butt off all year and get compensated well for it. Results are valued far above anything else. If you’re good at your job you’ll be paid really well
