Is Manager role at Deloitte India equivalent to AVP role at EXL Services? In terms of seniority?

It’s so nice that every agency laying off people, have those left standing (and other agencies) trying to hustle jobs for their unemployed friends, but there are also a ton of people who were unemployed prior to Covid...so no severance, job hunting lot longer, and not earning income for longer time...hurting even MORE due to quarantine.

So I'm in a weird space at the moment. I've been interviewing with a lot of agencies in the past couple of months, and I keep getting the same response of "I need more agency experience." How am I supposed to get that experience if one of the things holding me back is not having enough agency experience?

Just got turned down for a job I really wanted. No interview. I even had a referral, but they didn't even look at my book! Feeling empty and worthless right now.
