Moved to Portland from the east coast and then got laid off. Job market here is rough - ended up getting a fully remote job. I don’t think I’ll stay here long term.

I have lived in the Portland area my entire life as a graphic designer and the problem I've seen is that TONS of creative type people want to live and work here and so competition is huge and thereby wages are lower. It's extremely challenging to be a designer in Seattle and Portland.
Such a lovely city to live in, so easy and beautiful. I work remote from here. Never leaving.
Nope. I just like to stand up for Portland.
