Has anyone had experience in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors? Most of my experience in college was with nonprofits but I’m currently working in corporate retail. There are a lot of things I miss about the nonprofit sector and I am considering about making the move back but want to weigh my pros and cons. I am one year out of grad school so any knowledge regarding how to navigate the workforce as a newbie is welcomed. Thank you!

Hello! I’m currently a Administrative assistant now working at a major medical system in Baltimore. I’ve previously worked for 10 years as a medical assistant in a variety of specialties and primary care. Lately, I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as to my next step. Part of me want to go into management, another part is saying go get your RN, and the other is saying go into Social Work. I’m all over the place. Any ideas? Calling all the folks in the SaaS selling space. I genuinely want to know what makes having SaaS selling industry experience so unique? Here’s a little background: I was negatively impacted during the pandemic when working at a hospitality SaaS company as a CSM. Supply chain strategy work (design, transformation) versus implementation? What firms have the strongest practices for each?

At a manufacturing client who stocks a high volume of raw materials and packaging components with varying units of measure (milliliters, lb, kg, eaches, etc.). We’ve modeled how much RM inventory ($/units) to stock based on demand for finished good items they tie to and several other variables. I am am trying to identify pallet conversions by each RM item to determine the number of pallet spaces required. Anyone know of an effective way to do this? Trying to be within +/- 10% accuracy.

I may have an opportunity to move from D to a large e-commerce company. I do SC, I love SC, I dont want to stray too far from SC. However, this leadership role is focused more on setting comp strategy for its 10-15k employee SC workforce. Its not an HR position, at least organizationally (it sits under COO). Comp would be a nice bump.

Is doing comp strategy for the supply chain workforce going to pigeonhole me such that i wont be able to do "true" SC work in the future?
