That’s lower than the minimum wage in many places. You can almost certainly get a different attorney job that pays more.
We have an assistant with no college degree and she makes $25/h.
I work with an ex-lawyer who went into Customer Success Management in Banking after working for 18 months in family law. She’s now in tech but still loves customer success management.
Doing contract document review pays more. I was getting $25/hr straight out of law school… thirteen years ago.
I suggest going for another lawyer job that pays more while you look for longer-term solutions. Having a little more money in your pocket can help you think more long-term.
RE broker and investor!!! I do both, law and RE as and agent!!! Although I’m a RE broker I have decided to start as an agent to learn the ropes!!! My goal is to get into RE investing and developing!!! Where are you located???
