Unlimited PTO is not working for me.

I just started a new job 2 months ago, benefits and PTO don’t start until 90 days in so I still have a month before I can take off any time, and today found out my company doesn’t offer paid maternity leave.
I’m really struggling handling the symptoms and maintaining my full time job. Thinking about looking for a part time job to have more time to myself through the pregnancy since I won’t be getting a paid leave anyways, but lost on where to start looking. Any recommendations?

6 months pregnant and just laid off. And 40% of my severance was just taken in taxes .. I just spoke with paid family leave and I no longer qualify even though I had been paying into the program (thanks NY).. I already applied for unemployment but doctors are telling me I’ve got 10-14 weeks left in this pregnancy.. so stressed having twins and being unemployed, no maternity leave, no paychecks coming in, and I’ve been applying but not a single interview.. just ugh. 😭

My gf is still waiting for her EAD and had to go on unpaid leave of absence which is coming to an end in March. Noting delays on current processing times, what are multinational companies offering on similar cases? Are they terminating their employment without any health insurance benefit until they can be rehired or are they offering any other support? If you were in a private company assistant controller position being offered $10k more to switch over to public and much better PTO days and fully remote as opposed to an in office position that I’m currently at in a Real estate growing company. 529 Plan VERSUS Prepaid

We live in Florida and currently have a Freshman in High School and a 16 month old. We hear from our friends and family with college bound children "I wish we would have done Florida PrePaid." After obviously ignoring this for years, we are finally trying to do it before "it's too late" for both children.

Does anyone have recommendations on which plan to go with for each child? I once did the pros and cons on a whiteboard and it seemed like 529 was better.
