Consultant isn't a role at McKinsey. Do you have an MBA or no
Ahh that makes more sense. Digital McKinsey (formerly BTO) is still a mashup of acquisitions, design folks and a bunch of other people. Almost no one outside digital understands the roles. Yes, they're titled differently. No idea on comp, but my guess if no MBA is required is somewhere between analyst and associate...maybe a 100-120 base. Total guess though, maybe some of my colleagues on here will have a better answer.
Gotcha, yeah I do have a masters. Thanks for your inputs!
What role/level?
Job title is Consultant...not sure what that translates to in your hierarchy but my guess is associate?
No MBA but i assure you it says Consultant. It's with Digital McKinsey. Do they have a different titles?
I hope 100-120 is not the base. That would be less than what I make at D.
Like I said, could be wrong. Most associate equivalent roles require an MBA or advanced degree, but if it associate equivalent it will be whatever the most recent MBA class got, likely without room for negotiation
@OP just keep it spicy when negotiating and you will be fine ;)
Way to jinx yourself bud.
If it's equivalent to associate, 135ish. I interviewed there with bto, they all pay well even without an MBA.
I don't believe in jinx or luck. You get what you work for.
