Move from Fractal to Axtria Inc. for 20% hike?
I got an offer from Axtria for $150k as DS Manager which is 20% more than my TC of 125k as Sr. Analytics Consultant. These companies have similar no. Of employees (3k in Axtria, 4k in Fractal), but Fractal has a wide array of clients in many domains where as Axtria focuses on Pharma industry. Also given the current market conditions, I know my job at Fractal is stable, not sure about that at Axtria.

Is the 20% hike and title worth the change?

Which companies have best WLB, least stressed DS/DA roles? I’ve been suffering from some immunology issues and stress from work would worsen it, therefore I want to move to a company/role with good benefit (esp. healthcare) and great WLB (little chance of PIP, etc). Doesn’t have to be high-paying, as long as it can support my life (single) and long-term medical cost. Thanks in advance.

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

My question is:

When it comes time to talk compensation, should I base the market rate for the role on my city of residence or NY?

Would it make sense to ask them directly how they determine comp for NY-bases vs. other city-based employees?
