My 4 year old seems to have a pretty good aptitude for numbers, among other things.

He was able to count to 500 at a pretty young age (backwards and in Spanish too - ha!), can add 3-digit numbers in his head, and can do 2-digit multiplication with some crayon and paper.

He has a love of learning and we don’t want to push him, but any tips on what we can do to nurture this interest?

This is a little random but I’ve gotten some peace from this community and I wonder if others share the same struggle. Does anyone else take care of mentally ill parents? I have one at home and some days are harder than others. I struggle to maintain confidence when all I’m hearing is terrible things about myself from someone who isn’t in their right mind. Don’t get me wrong, I’m an adult woman who is proud of my accomplishments, but some days are just hard to shake. Any advice?

Feeling a deep void in close human connection after letting go a relationship that was lacking a future (I was interested in something more, he was unsure). How have you combated your fear of rejection? I fixate on such small things as when my friends, for example, reject plans I have made. This definitely makes me more averse to putting myself out there and makes me ruminate on past perceived failures, which are clearly not good for personal growth

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). He has mentioned a few times that he’s worried I’ll get bored of him when I know he can’t afford the same things I can. I think we are beginning to move past this, but now he’s starting to mention things like ‘I am really broke this month’, and last weekend he told me his mum has lost her job and he’ll have to probably pay her rent. I have a lot of sympathy for his situation … tbc

Lyft driver delayed picking me up 30 min, resulting in me canceling my ride and asking hotel to call me a “yellow taxi” to get to the airport because it was 5am and all ubers/lyfts were 15 min. Specifically said yellow. Hotel calls me a private lux SUV and the driver got out of the car to handshake the man who called and said hi (honestly money couldve been passed). I then get hit with a $180 ride. Marriott website says taxi should be $65. Should I complain or let it go?
