Is Nagarro good to join? I have a fully remote opportunity which I'm pretty sure I can crack. Is the pay and benefits good at Nagarro? Do they provide laptop and test devices or will I have to work on my laptop? Do they give medical insurance etc? What if the project gets over. Do they have enough projects or will I be asked to move to a different technology? Will I be fired if on bench? Nagarro

[query] Is it a good idea to say a firm No due to medical reasons to a new night shift project I'm hired in?Accenture
I recently got a night shift project (2 days ago) that requires me to work from 10:30pm till 7:30am
I'm not comfortable with these timings and I'm thinking to ask my manager to put me on Bench (Due to medical reasons that involve mental health)
Is it a nice idea to say a firm No to a new project I'm hardlocked into, due to night shifts?
What would be my in hand after tax deductions?

It's the "loves this" for me

Don’t get fired before the background check clears

Not sure why it would be. It’s perfectly normal for someone to leave a company prior to starting a new job to have a few weeks off. Maybe I’m missing something, but it doesn’t seem like a red flag to me.
Or just accept their feedback during this conversation. No need to admit either poor performance or a future job opportunity.
Just have a conversation and listen to see if any feedback is useful to you overall. If the feedback is fair simply acknowledge it and say you appreciate the time and conversation and take the feedback to heart. Then when you do return with a notice nobody is surprised-they will just assume the convo was a wake up call. If the conversation is actually about an action they are taking so be it-the same thing, acknowledge and say you appreciate that they have thought out their response and will learn from it. No need for any rush decisions or actions by you before you hear them out. Bide your time.
I vote severance!

I know someone just posted a background check horror story about Microsoft but for the most part it just seems to be a formality. For my current and all past jobs they only initiated the background check after I already accepted and signed the offer letter. I didn’t know so many people stayed on until after their background check was complete.

I didn’t know it was state dependent. I always had a start date and signed offer letter by the time the background check started. I can only think of one time where I was conclusively told that I passed the background check. The other times I just gave them some additional info and that was that.
The feedback they may offer should be useful even if you take another role. You are also more likely to get severance if you don’t effectively quit yourself by telling them you have a pending offer.
Please do not tell them about the job. Take the severance!!!
Isn’t that the best? Get severance and a new signing bonus? Double dip!
I believe in you! Take the severance and start fresh!
Wouldn’t they put you on pip first to avoid severance which should give you enough time for your next job?

So the conversation went well. My boss told me they are restructuring and can’t afford to lose anyone, but they want to put me into a role I previously stated I have no interest in. He knew I had been interviewing for other internal roles through HR and wanted to know my thoughts.
I told him I don’t see myself being happy in the new role and I’d likely be looking to leave the group, but wouldn’t know for sure what I’m doing for a few weeks. He said he didn’t want to spin me up on something new just for me to leave, so I should just hangout and enjoy life the next few weeks until I can let him know what my plan is. I thought that was nice of him considering he could have just thrown me onto some crap project.
Don’t get tricked into quitting when they are the ones making your current role redundant. State your intentions without quitting, put it back in their court. And keep looking for a suitable role internally or externally…. Loads of places are hiring
