My firm gave me a huge raise, but keeps giving me nothing but the most absolute garbage cases. This December they gave me a 2.5x bigger raise than any other associate got, even when I was already making more than any other associate. It’s a commercial litigation firm but my caseload is contingency personal injury cases and oddball cases with tough clients no one else is willing to get near. I am serving notice period and in october month salary I haven’t received night shift allowance while other members of team have received it. Can anyone please confirm if there is such rule that within notice period Night shift allowance goes on hold and will be paid in FnF. Or should I raise this concern with my manager.

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? How many billable hours per week is considered at capacity? I’m getting pushback on boundaries I’m setting about additional matters and marketing work from my firm when I’ve been billing 60-75 hours per week for the last 6 weeks, and I’m still behind on my work.
