Yes especially if you are burnt out.
I just made a similar switch. I love my decision.

Are your loans paid off?
Super burned out corporate associate over here. Have paternity leave coming up, hoping that will allow me to reset a little bit (I’m sure it won’t be too relaxing haha).
You can also talk to your firm about a reduced work schedule. Lots of firms offer going halftime with half the pay, or 80/80, etc. Probably equals to around the same amount of pay and the same hours, but you get to stay at the big law firm, which means: A: better exit options, and B: the option to ramp back up once you feel rests and want those Benjamin’s again.

Be very careful with this, I did it and it was not respected at all.
We’ve a few reduced workload associates/counsel in our team and (1) they’re quite senior (7+ years) and (2) they’re young mothers so they negotiated the flexible/reduced hours when they came back from parental leave. I’m a third year and I thought about this but was told by several folks that it will not be received well in the firm and there’s a chance of being siloed etc. I found an in-house gig and starting next month!
If you don’t want it, I’ll take it. Joking aside, seems like a really good opportunity. Congrats!
