My last working day was yesterday, and I’m scheduled to join Barclays on 20th November.
However, I’ve now received another offer from JP with a better compensation package. Since this is my first job switch,
I’m unsure if rejecting Barclays at this stage could lead to being blacklisted.

How should I handle this situation, and what would be the right way to communicate this to HR?

Managing attorneys in small firms - how much do you make?

I'm in South Florida. Currently a 6 year associate at a small firm (~12 attorneys, 55 staff). Making a move towards Managing Attorney position that they are considering hiring from outside the firm for. I'm going to make the case that they should promote from within and give me the position.
