Hi everyone! I'm looking to apply for a Strategy and Operations Role at Google . They are asking for 3 years of work ex but I only have slightly more than 2 years of work ex in Operations. Would it make sense to still try for it if I only meet the Operations side of requirements and not strategy side?

Jeez i would suggest talking to a senior manager about this as well and tell them that you don't trust this manager to give an accurate feedback... hope you have other team members who can vouch for your work.
@op I completely agree with @bcg1. you do realize your manager may be on fb? Since you're working with him for another 3 months maybe you shouldn't air the laundry out on fb. This post is trending. Wouldn't be surprised if he saw this. You're seriously making me question your judgment. Maybe that's why said manager is always in your grill. You lack common sense.
That sounds like serious trust issues. Did he tell you that he checked?
Your manager has too much time on his hands
He's a psycho
I called the travel center and the lady was surprised that another "gentleman" had just called about the same route. So I asked the travel agent for the name of the person , because lame me me , I thought it was probably this guy at another project that flies the same route. I asked if it was "x". She said , no it was "y" and "y" is my manger's name. What a piece of work he is! Instead of being a supportive leader, he behaves this way.
Full disclosure: you have been caught lying in the past and we no longer trust you.
Should I ask him about it ? My gut says table it. I am up for promo this year and this guy's word will play a role in it.
If that's truly his/her manager, Monday is going to be the most awkward Monday of all-time. You must share an update. 🍿
Call him on it.
A lot of terrible advice here - what can you possibly gain by confronting the manager? Roll off first opportunity and in the interim be super careful - for cause or not this manager is watching you so you have to be careful - he didn't actually do anything unethical but he may be paranoid AF in which case confronting him could really be a disaster
So, I spoke to the other manager. He advised me to let it go and keep it cool till project closes shortly. He believes the project pressures and deadlines are adversely affecting the M in question, and believes this topic will only make things worse. I am going to peace out on this topic. Feeling stressed & unhappy....but letting it go.
Your manager has some serious trust issues. Can't imagine he can hold a decent relationship (personal/business) with that type of personality.
Not sure what firm you're with, but I would call both HR and the partner. Whatever firm you are with, if we don't trust each other, we fail.
He is a paranoid. Not the first time he did crazy things like this. I need to work with him for 3 more months...
Lol!! My manager keeps saying he is too busy for social media. Who knows! If it is him, I am glad he knows that I know what he did. 👍🏼
Lol!! OP looks like your dilemma about talking to your manager just got sorted
M1 Extremely nice of you to accuse me without knowing anything about my work ethics
Tell your manager to eat a dick
No...some of this advice is just bad. Be smart, it's your career.
