My senior rarely answers my initial emails/Skype messages/etc. Little background: He’s on another client so I know he’s likely busy but it makes it somewhat difficult to get things done. Any tips on how to manage this? It’s getting to the point where I feel like a pest/uncomfortable following up on unanswered messages. I’ve been compiling questions, utilizing other team members, communicating with managers, but there are some things that just need to go through him because he’s the senior.

Mid-level when she's leading the call: please make sure you take notes. It's expected of the person not leading a call (note I always take notes)

Me(jr): asked to lead a call for a different deal as training. Mid-level doesn't take notes (also on call) and tells me it's the job if the junior to take notes.

Linguistic question, should an associate say "my partner" when talking to a client about a partner? To me this comes off like implying your also a partner, but saying "our partner" sounds weird too...
