When your project sucks but you can’t roll off
Anyone know of any online EWM Training Course I can take to learn EWM and be able to speak it and do Config? I need something to do on the bench.
I need more EQMs before the year's out and currently on the bench. $75 round trip flights to Vegas... 🤔
[1/2] Hi all, I apologize because I know there have been posts on this bowl with similar subject matter recently, but I really need advice. I am at a risk of losing my job at the end of this month if I don’t make some changes to my work performance, specifically meeting my monthly billable hour requirement. My work and my work product is not an issue - my partner has repeatedly commended me on everything I produce, but my billable hours are seriously lacking.
Tax work at my law firm is not enough to keep me busy. Maybe I could start doing work in another department to supplement my billable hours. Is anyone here a part timer in another group? I’m thinking investment funds or start ups? Anyone else do this and any advice?
12 teams - no PPR (standard) w 6th pick overall. I got Green, Fournette, Cooks, C Edmonds and A Lazard on bench + Patriots D. Thoughts?
I started in October, been on the bench for two months, and now I am starting on processing PPP applications. This wasn’t what I was expecting and is not close to what my domain is. All my other new hire colleagues are on exciting cool projects. I feel like I’m going to fall behind while my peers are building their CVs. Is this bad? Be honest please. Words of encouragement aren’t needed, just clarity on my situation.
What's everyone hoping to get for Christmas? I got my present early: five months of billable work to start off 2016.
My HR rep told me that to apply for your CPA license in MA you only need 1 year of work experience, not 2009 billable hours. Didn't sound right- can anyone confirm/deny?
When you're on the bench, do you reach out for work or use the time to relax until next engagement?
2 months on the bench now, and I'm starting to freak out. Projects are picking people that are either local or have more relevant experience than me.

How do I know exactly how long I can afford to be on the bench? Been on the bench throughout January and it was slipping close to 90% as of 1/12, worried I don’t have much time to spare
Question with regards to layoff talks. Are those who are being let go on the bench or being released while on projects? I haven't heard of many ACN layoffs in the former situation...

Sorry to hear this, CP+B’ers...have some friends there who are safe for now, is this the last of layoffs there (CO and LA)? http://www.adweek.com/agencyspy/cpb-cuts-3-percent-of-staff-in-boulder-and-l-a-as-part-of-larger-restructuring/143982
Potential agency boomerang having a hard time making a decision to stay brand-side or go back. Need some advice! Do I leave the brand, being "the client," fun work, great WLB, as well as the most toxic work environment I've ever experienced and meh pay? Do I go back to agency lead a new team with significant responsibilities, forget about WLB, sell my soul alongside smart people, get great pay and benefits? PS: I'm a mom and brand-side for 5 years. What do I need to know!? Thank you!
At kpmg, we get per diem $50-70 a day and we keep it whether we spend it or not. At other Big 4 I heard y’all get actuals? So if you get $50 for dinner, are people actually eating fancy dinners daily?
