Always negotiate. Doesn't have to be big if you're junior, but it's great practice. They aren't going to retract the offer because you ask for an extra $5k.
A lot of agencies don't let you negotiate on an entry-level job. It's shitty, but it's a thing. If you can, then definitely do, especially if you have relevant intern experience, but it may be one of the few times in your career you'll get a flat no on negotiating.
I was told flat out no when I went from intern to jr. They know you want it. But I would still ask. Always good practice to ask.
Always ask. It doesn't hurt, and it's good practice esp. if you're a girl 🐠. The worst they can say is no.
I had my first agency add the $5k relo to my base salary and just made it work. It helped me later on when I got a 10% raise etc etc. base salary is important and you won't get what you don't ask for. Worst thing they can say is no
Say, "im really excited about this offer and would love to be a part of your team. You've offered me $XX,000 and I would like to be considered for $YY,000." Make sure they know you're excited about the opportunity but also ask for the amount that you think is reasonable and fair. Do your research to make sure the amount you ask for is correct for the market you're working in. Get used to having uncomfortable conversations now because if you're gonna be in this business there are plenty ahead of you. Good luck!
Look up ramit the guy from I will teach you to be rich. He has a YouTube clip showing how to do this and it's SUPER GOOD.
Thanks everyone!

Depends on the place and how long you want to take to make money.
Good luck. You're pretty much fucked unless you have multiple offers.
